Reader E-Mailed A Really Great Question!
The subject was in regards to a recent article titled: QuickBooks ProAdvisor For Contractors.
This person asked: "Why do you call it QuickBooks ProAdvisor for Contractors? I can read and analyze the reports of QuickBooks but I really am not "hands on" using it. We use QuickBooks Accountant 2012, and I did not know that Intuit has QuickBooks for Contractors."
There is a QuickBooks ProAdvisor Program; however, there is no QuickBooks ProAdvisor For Contractors Program. I simply added "For Contractors" to the end of the sentence because we provide outsourced accounting for contractors and Profit And Growth Coaching For Contractors.
The good news is we focus on doing one thing very well and according to our Contractor Client Recommendations we are doing a good job!
We fix messed up QuickBooks contractor files and turn them into useful highly useful Financial Profit And Loss, Balance Sheet, Key Performance Indicators, (KPI Reports) and Job Costing Report generating machine that construction company owners like you can use to find out where you are making money and losing money; so you can do more the first and less of the second!
The bad news is we sometimes forget to add a few words to explain what we are talking about so I put together a short video on how to access the QuickBooks Contractor or QuickBooks For Contractors. Both terms mean the same thing and since we hear folks using both I included them here.
My sincere thanks and heart-felt appreciation goes out to the person who took the time to write and ask the question which prompted this article and to everyone who reads these articles.
